Qualifications

Padua Academy seeks a mission-driven, visionary leader to serve as its first President, committed to advancing the school’s Catholic identity and tradition of excellence. The search committee actively seeks to identify and secure this leader, and all inquiries and applications will be treated with the highest degree of confidentiality and respect.

The qualifications of Padua's President is a practicing Catholic who demonstrates:

  • A commitment to ongoing spiritual formation, and growth in leadership and areas of professional responsibility
  • A deep understanding of and passion for all-girls Catholic secondary education, with the credibility to lead and represent Padua Academy with integrity
  • A minimum of a master’s degree, with doctoral degree preferred, in Business or a related field
  • Proven experience as a visionary and strategic leader, including the ability to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan
  • Demonstrated success in advancement initiatives, including major fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, and external relations
  • Proven ability to engage with and represent the school to the broader community, building strong relationships beyond the school environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strategic mindset, with experience in effective financial oversight
  • A collaborative leader and team builder who maximizes the gifts and talents of others and embraces the virtue of subsidiarity
  • The ability to serve as a unifying ambassador for Padua Academy, inspiring excellence internally and advancing the school’s mission externally
