    Congrats to Anuradha Dole '25, named a National Merit Semifinalist and a John Locke Institute Global Essay Merit Award Winner.
  • Barbara Markham Awarded for Holocaust Education

    Ms. Barbara Markham, beloved by many generations of Padua students, wins the inaugural Joel Glazier Award for Holocaust Education at Padua.

    Today, we kicked off the 2024-2025 school year with our Opening Liturgy at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, uniting as one Padua community in prayer and reflection.

  • In Memoriam: Anthony N. Fusco, Sr.

    We extend our prayers and deepest condolences to the family of Anthony N. Fusco, Sr. and to all those who join us in mourning his passing. Anthony's contributions were instrumental during the construction of our building.
  • Welcome Back Weekend

    Join us between Sept. 5th  - Sept. 8th to celebrate 70 years of Padua!  Events include: home Volleyball game, Happy Hour at Kelly's Logan House, 5k race, home Field Hockey game & tailgate, Mass at St. Anthony's church and a Spaghetti Dinner.
  • Screening of A Man for Others

    As part of our 70th anniversary celebration, we celebrated the life and contributions of Father Roberto Balducelli: priest, war hero, builder and miracle worker with a screening of the documentary A Man for Others here at Padua.
  • Graduation 2024

    Congratulations to the Class of 2024, now graduates of Padua Academy! On May 30th, we celebrated the 67th Graduating Class at Abessinio Stadium under perfect weather. 
  • Baccalaureate Mass 2024

    Yesterday, we celebrated our Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2024 at St. Anthony's Church. It was a beautiful moment for our seniors to reflect, celebrate, and give thanks for their journey over the past four years.
  • Catholic Youth Ministry Awards

    On May 21, the Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) of the Diocese of Wilmington honored exceptional contributors to youth ministry within their parish or Catholic school at the Annual CYM Recognition Dinner.
  • Delaware Bridge Design Competition

    Padua Academy made its debut at the 2024 Delaware Bridge Design Competition recently! Our talented sophomores, Emily Glowacki, Juliana Mongiovi, Kasey Nwokobia, and Elena Sangemino (aka Team Sparklers), took on the challenge of crafting an arched truss bridge.

    Congratulations to Señora Jennifer Vintigni, our Department Chair of the World Language Department and Spanish teacher at Padua, for receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award!
  • Global Education - Spain & Italy 2024

    Padua's Spring 2024 trip to Italy & Spain was a success!  24 students and 4 chaperones visit Rome, Florence, Assisi, Madrid, and Barcelona.

    Students in Drivers Education learned key safety tips on interacting with trucks and buses, by VA Tech researcher, Scott Tidwell and got a first hand view of the being inside a truck.

    Congratulations to Anuradha Dole ’25, Yamen Ediae ’24, and Izabel Jipson ’24 for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024 National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations in Computing Award.

    Annie Taylor, award winning Foley Editor, visited our class on Acting and Directing for the Stage and brought a wealth of knowledge and experience from her role in the effects department at Alchemy Post Sound.
  • Celebrating 70 Years of Padua!

    Throughout 2024, our community is celebrating seventy years of Padua Academy!  During Catholic Schools Week, we began the celebration for our students with an assembly reflecting on Padua’s history and opening the 1989 time capsule.
  • 2nd SUP Series: Impact Day

    The second SUP Series Event: Impact Day was held at Padua bringing the freshmen classes from Salesianum, Ursuline and Padua together for a day focused on service.  
  • Seizure Recognition and First Aid Certification For All

    Thanks to Padua Senior Brynn Fassano's service initiative, all faculty, staff, and students completed Seizure Recognition and First Aid Certification on January 4th, with the help of Padua Alumna Val Budischak, Executive Director of EFDC.
