Padua Academy is proud to celebrate senior Elce Walsh on her appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point—a rare and remarkable achievement that reflects her academic excellence, strong leadership, and elite physical fitness.
Earning a West Point appointment is no ordinary college acceptance. Elce successfully:
Earned a congressional nomination
Passed the rigorous Candidate Fitness Assessment
Was admitted based on her outstanding academic record, taking one of the most rigorous curriculums available at Padua.
From state champion & nationally ranked pole vaulter to student ambassador and community volunteer, Elce leads by example—inspiring everyone around her with her dedication and humility.
At a special ceremony in her honor, Elce’s counselor, Mr. Joel Lang, and teacher, Mrs. Kelly Townsend, shared heartfelt remarks before Mr. David Monagle, West Point admissions volunteer for Chester County, PA, officially presented her with her appointment.
We were honored to celebrate this milestone with her family, teachers, friends, and special guests. Your Padua family is beyond proud, Elce. Go, Panda—and go Army!
