National Merit Scholarship Recognition

We are so #PaduaPROUD to announce that three of our students have been recognized for their academic merit on the national stage!

Congratulations to seniors Cecelia Kane, Genevieve Radich, and Lydia Roarty, who have been named Commended Students in this year's National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious recognition honors students who demonstrate exceptional academic promise based on their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, taken in Fall 2025.

More than 1.3 million students entered the National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Of those participants, approximately 34,000 of the highest-scoring students nationwide were named Commended Students for their outstanding performance.

While Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, this distinction recognizes their exceptional academic ability and places them among a select group of high-achieving students from across the country.

We are incredibly proud of Cecelia, Genevieve, and Lydia for this well-deserved recognition and for representing Padua Academy with such scholarship, dedication, and excellence. Congratulations, Pandas!
