2025 AP School Honor Roll - Gold Status

Padua Academy is proud to announce that we have once again earned Gold status on the 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll, a national recognition awarded by the College Board to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, college readiness, and expanding access to rigorous coursework.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes high schools that not only deliver impressive student outcomes, but also intentionally foster a college-going culture by welcoming more students into AP courses and supporting them throughout their academic journey. Padua’s recognition reflects a thoughtful balance of challenge, support, and long-term student success.

In addition to earning Gold status overall, Padua Academy achieved Platinum recognition in two key categories:

  • College Credit (Platinum): A high percentage of Padua graduates earned scores of 3 or higher on at least one AP exam during high school, demonstrating readiness for college-level work.
  • College Optimization (Platinum): Many students completed five or more AP exams over their four years, with at least one exam taken as early as freshman or sophomore year—evidence of sustained academic growth and confidence.

Padua’s approach to Advanced Placement coursework is rooted in personalized, supportive course planning. Our educators and counselors work closely with each student to ensure she is appropriately challenged in areas where she seeks greater rigor, while also receiving the support needed for sustainable success.

Through decades of experience educating young women, Padua understands the importance of a strong and confident transition into high school. Freshmen are given opportunities to explore honors-level coursework, helping them build a solid academic foundation and a deeper understanding of themselves as learners. This intentional progression allows students to begin their AP pursuits as sophomores feeling prepared, supported, and empowered.

This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of Padua’s devoted faculty, counselors, administrators, students, and families. Together, we continue to cultivate an environment where young women are encouraged to challenge themselves, discover their strengths, and graduate ready to thrive in college and beyond.

We are proud to celebrate our AP Scholars, whose achievements—along with the dedication and hard work of all Padua students—exemplify the academic excellence, perseverance, and commitment to learning that define our community.
