Padua Academy was proud to welcome back more than 45+ alumnae from the Classes of 2022–2025 for Alumnae Return Day, an annual tradition that has been part of the Padua experience for more than 10 years.
During the afternoon, seniors participated in small-group panel discussions with recent graduates who are now attending colleges and universities across the country. Representing a wide range of institutions — from large public universities to small private colleges, in big cities and small towns — alumnae shared honest, first-hand insight into what college life is really like.
Conversations covered everything seniors are eager to know: academics, study habits, writing expectations, roommates, campus life, social balance, and the realities of being away from home. Alumnae spoke candidly about the exciting, stressful, fun, and sometimes unpredictable moments of college life, offering reassurance and practical advice to students preparing for their next chapter.
Perhaps most meaningful were the reflections alumnae shared about how Padua prepared them for college success — words that were truly music to our ears. Alumnae shared sentiments such as:
“I’m so glad my parents sent me to Padua.”
“Freshman year of college was easier than I expected because of Padua.”
“Padua taught me how to study and prepare for tests.”
“I was so prepared for writing in college.”
“I learned so much about work ethic and communication skills — Padua really set us up for success.”
The day concluded with a joyful teacher–alumnae reception, giving graduates the opportunity to reconnect with the educators who helped shape their academic and personal growth.
Alumnae Return Day is a powerful reminder of the strength of the Padua sisterhood and the lasting impact of a Padua education. By returning to share their experiences, our alumnae continue to inspire confidence, connection, and excitement for what lies ahead.
