This curriculum fosters a high level of both technical and critical thinking skills as students create meaningful artwork. Students discover methods to express themselves and bring awareness to their own ways of seeing.

Fine Art at Padua

In developing a high level of both technical and critical thinking skills, students in Padua's Fine Arts courses create meaningful artwork as well as find new connections beyond the classroom. The Fine Arts faculty teach students to hone the skills necessary to become innovative and influential leaders.

The courses in Fine Arts are devoted to exploration, teaching students skills to manipulate materials, images, and forms. The curriculum engages the whole student – mind, body, and spirit – to encourage independent thinking and personal growth.

Padua's Fine Arts program also invites local artists into the classroom as guest speakers to offer insights into the art industry and their career paths. Students occasionally visit museums, enriching their understanding and broadening their artistic horizons.

Padua's Annual Art Show

Each spring, Padua celebrates the creativity and talent of our students through our annual Art Show. Featuring everything from introductory art projects to advanced AP Art portfolios and innovative Graphic Design pieces, the exhibit highlights the imagination, skill, and passion of our young artists.
Spirituality. Scholarship. Service. Sisterhood.
