St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day

Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, one of the patron saints at Padua Academy. The day began with a morning prayer service in the gym, where we focused on the joy he brought to his early companions and his joy in living the Beatitudes. New junior drivers were blessed and presented Tau cross keychains and prayer cards by the junior student council officers. All Padua athletes were acknowledged with a Blessing of Athletes, and the event concluded with the singing of our Alma Mater. 

The Cheer team joined the celebration following the prayer service, leading cheers and fostering Padua spirit. Students were also treated to special snacks during lunch in honor of the feast day donated by students and parents. Thank you to all who participated in today's events for your enthusiasm as we prayed, played and "feasted" on the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi.
