Congratulations to our D1 Padua Academy Soccer Team for bringing home their 4th consecutive and 12th overall, Delaware State Title! The team won in a penalty-kick shootout, 3-1 , beating Middletown HS.
The Panda Party continues on Broom Street this week as we celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our Padua Track & Field Program. Over the weekend, we won our 10th straight team title, the last eight in Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I, and 20th overall dating back to 1983. But the Pandas’ 211½ points were the most in meet history, boys or girls, regardless of division, and first 200 points or higher!
Last week at the 2022 St. Francis de Sales Awards Convocation, the Most Reverend William E. Koenig, Bishop of the Diocese of Wilmington, honored our amazing seniors with the St. Francis de Sales Medal. A Saint Francis de Sales Outstanding Catholic School Senior is recognized for excellence in faith development, scholarship, service and leadership.
On Tuesday, April 5, students, faculty and staff, and members of Senior Emily Malone's family gathered in the Learning Commons to celebrate Emily's appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. The application process started in February of 2021 and while it's been a long road, Emily has navigated it with exact precision and her hard work has been rewarded.

In the final 2:10 minutes of the DIAA Division 1 State Championship held at Dover HS on Tuesday, June 1, Padua Soccer's Anna Poehlmann '22 added the needed goal to push the Pandas past Smyrna High, thus defending their 2019 State Title. This mark's Padua's 11th Delaware Championship.

Congratulations to the Padua Academy Mock Trial Team who competed in the DE State Mock Trial Competition and earned an outstanding Top 6 finish! When Padua Senior Krissy Kanu was nominated to take part in Character Lab, she had never even heard of the organization. Less than a year later, Krissy found herself interviewing Dr. Bradley, as part of the keynote presentation at their annual Educator Summit in August.
