On Thursday, August 6, the DIAA Board voted to delay the start of sport seasons with a condensed season model that will begin in December. Under this new proposal, the Winter Season would start in December, followed by the Fall Season in February, and the Spring Season in April. At this time, the exact start dates have not been determined. There is a Department of Education meeting on August 14 where this proposal will be discussed further. Therefore, the August 17 fall sports tryout date has been canceled.
