Taylor Kozink '25 Awarded NROTC Scholarship

Padua Academy is proud to celebrate Taylor Kozink ’25 on earning a prestigious four-year National Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) scholarship—an elite accomplishment that reflects her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service.  This highly competitive scholarship provides: full tuition and benefits to the college of her choice, three summer training cruises with the Navy, a monthly stipend, and Commission as a Navy officer upon graduation

Taylor will use her scholarship to attend Virginia Tech, where she will study Aerospace Engineering and continue her leadership journey as part of the university’s NROTC program.

An outstanding student and athlete, Taylor has balanced a rigorous academic course load with varsity field hockey, equestrian competitions, rowing, part-time work, and Padua theater stage crew. She also made a major impact this year by leading the National Honor Society’s student tutoring program and expanding it into Padua’s Academic Success Center.

Taylor’s Padua family, along with her parents, Kelly and Scott Kozink, grandparents, Sue and Dave Twiggs, and faculty, gathered to celebrate this milestone.

We were honored to celebrate this milestone with her family, teachers, and friends. Your Padua family is beyond proud, Taylor. Go, Panda—and go Navy!
