SUP Marching Band consists of Salesianum, Ursuline, and Padua students (grades 9-12) who perform together at Salesianum football games and other school-sponsored events.  SUP Marching Band members begin their season with a 9-day camp starting mid-August, including an overnight trip to Camp Arrowhead, and then practice 3 days a week after school during football season.
  • Broom Street Belles

The Broom Street Belles are a student initiated a capella group under the direction of parent moderator Mrs. Anne Smookler.  They perform at our Christmas tree trim, as well as other on campus performances.  This is a club that meets after school.

  • Marching Band

This program provides Padua students the opportunity to participate in the Salesianum Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Brian Cox. Positions include colorguard and band members. All skill levels are welcome. Padua, Salesianum, and Ursuline students perform together at Salesianum football games and other school sponsored events.  The marching band also participates in parades, competitions and special events throughout the school year.  More information can be found on the Salesianum Marching Band page.
  • Music Ministry

Music Ministry is a group of students singers and musicians, under the co-direction of Dr. Andrew Bozanic and Mrs. Anna Alinda.  They perform at our prayer services and Masses, held in school and at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church.
  • Musical Theatre

Padua's Musical Theatre puts on a production every February, under the co-direction of Dr. Andrew Bozanic and Ms. Deirdre McCarrick.  Our recent performances include:  Mean Girls: The High School Version, Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Mama Mia! & Anything Goes.  Padua students also are able to audition for Salesianum School Theater productions.

This year's production of Mean Girls: The High School Version, and all those that preceded it, would not have been possible without the dedication and vision of Dr. Rebecca Kowalski '13 and Megan Julian Zebley '13.  Their passion for musical theatre helped relaunch Padua's dormant theatre program 10 years ago.  With gratitude, we recognize their efforts and all the successes during these past 10 years.

Padua's Musical Theatre even continued during COVID-19 with our production of The Little Mermaid in 2022.  Months of hard work and rehearsals resulted in a show that people could attend in person and experience all our theatre students have to offer.
