Shining Light Award Honors Lisa Kowalski '83

Delaware Foundation for Science and Math Education (DFSME) Shining Light Award honors Math Department Co-Chair Lisa Kowalski (Padua Academy Class of '83).  Lisa’s passion for introducing students to engineering and STEM-related experiential learning is exceptional. She has spent decades cultivating well-prepared students to move into math-rich career paths. She has transitioned to hold both her love of math education and her passion for tangible STEM experiences together. Her biomedical engineering curriculum embraces collaborative problem-based learning, and enriches the academic experiences of students considering a future in STEM. We are so proud of Mrs. Kowalski.
