Padua Celebrates Black History Month - Student Art Exhibit
As we celebrate Black History Month here on Broom Street, we wanted to share with you the beautiful bulletin board created by Bethany Makori '23 AND, to let you know about an art exhibition that will be opening on Friday, February 11, featuring the artwork of our students.
"The Life of Harriet Tubman, an Art Show by Padua Academy Students," will be on-display at Grace Church, 900 N. Washington Street, right here in our City of Wilmington, Delaware. We hope to soon share photos from the gallery but we encourage you to call 302.655.8847 for hours and visit. This is quite an honor for our student artists so we hope you'll be able to support this exhibition that pays tribute to the incredible woman for which they've created their pieces, Harriet Tubman.
Rooted in the Catholic faith, Padua Academy offers young women a transformational college preparatory education, challenging them to live Christ-centered lives of leadership and service.
