Trisha Srikanth '23 Recognized by National Center for Women and Information Technology

It's International Women & Girls in Science Day! We’d like to congratulate Padua Sophomore Trisha Srikanth for being recognized as one of only 400 U.S. High School women for her technological achievements by the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT Aspirations in Computing).

Trisha won Honorable Mention based on her aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by her computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.

We are also so #PaduaPROUD of Trisha Srikanth '23 for being selected as a 2022 Carson Scholars Fund recipient. She was chosen because she demonstrates the highest standards of academic achievement, integrity, civic and social responsibility.

The Carson Scholars Fund was founded in 1994 by world-renowned Johns Hopkins Pediatric Neurosurgeon Benjamin S. Carson, M.D. and his wife, Candy. To date, more than 3,500 Carson Scholars have been recognized for their academic and humanitarian achievements. Scholarship winners have attended more than 780 colleges and universities, and have received more than $7.6 million in scholarship funds to help finance their education.
