Junior Gina Rufo Receives National History Academy Award

Junior Gina Rufo has recently been awarded a $6,000 scholarship to study with the National History Academyin Middleburg, VA.  "The Academy is operated by the non-profit Journey Through Hallowed Ground National Heritage Area, designated by Congress and the National Park Service. During the five week program, 90 students from across the nation visit over 30 of our country's defining historic sites, meet with more than 20 national leaders, study five Harvard Business School cases, and engage in parliamentary debates to build true civil discourse. The Academy alternates classroom work with visits to iconic National Parks, museums, presidential homes, battlefields and Civil Rights sites in the region."
