Last night, the Diocese of Wilmington’s Catholic Youth Ministry honored outstanding leaders in youth ministry at the Annual CYM Recognition Dinner.

Jodiann Ferraiolo - Volunteer of the Year Jodiann is both a Padua Academy graduate and a parent of a student. She is an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Parish. She Selflessly volunteers in the Panda Cafe two or three times a week. Jodi is reliable, responsible, and well-loved by all. Her dedication to Padua is not just evident in her work in the Panda Cafe. She has been a Parent Ambassador at open houses and has volunteered at school events for the past two years. Jodi continues to live the Padua motto, "Softly but Strongly," while giving back to her alma mater.
Dr. Andrew Bozanic - St. John Bosco Award (Catholic School) Andy has taught at Padua Academy for eight year and is an active Immaculate Heart of Mary parish member. In addition to teaching history, Andy spends countless hours coordinating the Music Ministry program and assisting with Broom Street Belles and the Padua Theatre program. When students look for a faculty moderator or participant in one of their activities, they know he will assist them. Whether as emcee for the Religion Bowl during Catholic Schools Week or for the spring talent show, students know "Dr. Boz" will show up enthusiastically and energetically to support their endeavors.
Rose Casey - St. Timothy Youth Award Rose is a dedicated and determined Padua Academy student and St. Mary Magdalen parish member who prioritizes faith academics, athletics, and service. Rose has been active in Campus Ministry and the Peer Leadership Team since arriving at Padua Academy and has become an outstanding student leader. She has spent her summers volunteering at Vacation Bible School and honing her leadership skills at DeSales Leadership Camp. She is a Student Ambassador, Senior Class Officer, Team Captain, and member of hte National Honor Society. Rose embodies what Padua Academy hopes its students will become.
Sarah Voigt - St. Timothy Youth Award Sarah is a senior at Padua and a parishioner at St. Patrick's of Havre De Grace. She was a school representative for the Diocesan Youth Leadership Team. She is a member of the Students In Action program, which plans and promotes service events for students. Sarah was a student producer Padua's winter musical, on the Campus Ministry team, a peer leader, and a member of the Cause for the Paws activity. Sarah attended DeSales Leadership Camp as a junior. She continues to use her leadership skills in school and outside of Padua and is a tremendous asset to the Padua community.
