NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award

Congratulations to Anuradha Dole ’25, Yamen Ediae ’24, and Izabel Jipson ’24 for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024 National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations in Computing Delaware High School Affiliate Award.

In addition, Yamen Ediae ’24 has been honored with the NCWIT 2024 National Honorable Mention Award, which recognizes only 400 high school students from a pool of over 3,300 talented applicants nationwide.

These awards recognize female students for their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.

The NCWIT, in partnership with Bank of America’s Women In Technology & Operations, will host the 2024 Aspirations in Computing Award event on April 9th at Wilmington University’s New Castle, DE campus, where the awardees will be celebrated for their remarkable achievements.

We are #PaduaPROUD of Anuradha, Yamen, and Izabel, and eagerly anticipate the bright futures that await them!
