Padua Ranked #2 Best High School for Athletes in Delaware
Padua Academy has been ranked the #2 best high school for athletes in Delaware by USA Today High School Sports (July 4, 2025), second only to the all-boys Salesianum School.
The ranking is based on a study that includes survey feedback from students and parents, considering factors such as reviews of athletics, number of state championships, student participation, and the variety of sports offered. Padua's Division I Athletics Program has a proud legacy of excellence, with 95 State Championships and over 78% of students participating in 16 varsity sports.
Our athletes consistently achieve at the highest levels, earning recognition as National Gatorade Players of the Year, All-State athletes, and collegiate recruits.
Padua student-athletes pursue excellence in every area—on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Many go on to earn athletic scholarships at top colleges and universities nationwide.
Padua partners with ATI Physical Therapy to provide certified athletic trainers who specialize in injury prevention and rehabilitation for all levels of athletes.
