Padua Academy's Technology Department provides infrastructure and resources to support each student's individual course load.
Our Technology Department
The Technology Department supports students and faculty at Padua Academy in acquiring and executing digital learning skills. The 1:1 laptop program, which requires students to lease a MacBook Air, enhances Padua’s curriculum and provides for new learning opportunities.
In managing our systems to ensure optimal performance, the Technology Department provides infrastructure for the Padua community to use digital tools in a modernized learning environment. This involves the newly installed PaperCut software, which makes printing available to all students and reduces the environmental impact.

If you have been a Padua student for 4 years, students are permitted to keep their laptops upon completion. Transfer students may choose to pay the remaining balance on the lease to buy out their laptop. You can speak with the Finance Department about the remaining balance.
Laptops will be covered by AppleCare+ for the 4 years the student is at Padua with no insurance deductibles. Whether Accidental or Mechanical Failure, students will not be required to pay an insurance deductible. AppleCare+ covers up to 2 repair incidents per year.
If your laptop is in need of repair and you need to file an insurance claim, visit our IT Department as they take care of insurance claims and repairs for laptops. They will also assist in providing you a spare while your computer is being repaired.
