Students Visit Morisot Exhibit at Barnes Foundation

Students in Mme. Burris's French History course visited the Berthe Morisot exhibit at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia on January 4th. Morisot was an important French impressionist. Her work, and it's focus on the lives of women is both bold and beautiful. The students toured the rest of the Barnes to enjoy the artwork of renowned artists such as Cézanne, Picasso, and Renoir! Mme. Burris will offer another elective class next year as a semester course focusing on extraordinary women in French history. The course will be taught in English, offered to 10th, 11th, 12th graders, with no prior knowledge of French required.
