Tiny Steps Program Thanks Padua Students

This past Tuesday, students from the Student Library Advisory Board run by Library Media Specialist Evelyn Hudson, traveled to Saint Francis Hospital to meet with the administration of the Tiny Steps Program. In December, the club organized a book drive that collected 272 books for children in the Tiny Steps Program. This program offers free complete prenatal and maternity care to those in need. Free books are given to infants and toddlers during office visits to stimulate parental reading and language development. During the visit, students received a certificate acknowledging their contribution. Students had the opportunity to tour the Tiny Steps Program offices and meet Medical Director Dr. David Hack, Coordinator Bri'Ann Perkins, and Manager Ebony Brown. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to see their charitable impact first-hand!
