Shining a Light on Mental Health

Yesterday, Padua Academy welcomed SL24: UnLocke the Light for a powerful assembly on mental health awareness.

We were grateful to have Alumna Missy Marazzo ’19, Director of Communications at Sean’s House, as our keynote speaker. Missy shared her personal story, highlighted SL24's mission—to Educate, Assist, and Support—and spoke about recognizing warning signs and starting important conversations around mental health. Students also learned ways to support themselves and others.

A heartfelt thank you to SL24,  Mrs. Phelps, Señora Vintigni, and Ms. Closson for making this event possible, and to our Culture Crew, Peer Leaders, Student Ambassadors and members of Sean's Team for leading meaningful breakout sessions afterward.

Together, we continue to foster a community of empathy, understanding, and support.
