Merci from the World Language Department

This week the World Language Department sponsored "French Week." This week celebrates the diverse culture and history of the Francophone (French-speaking) world. French students and their teachers Mme. Boyle and Mme. Burris planned fun activities all week long. Students in French 3 and 4 presented their submissions for the French Film Fest on February 28th. They filmed their interpretations of 4 well-known French poems. Creative students and teachers painted a mini version inspired by French masterpieces on Wednesday, and on Thursday, PATV students Keeley Dugan, Robin Land, and Meg Doyle read the news in French. A screening of Anna Kelly and Isabella Jacob's French Film Fest winning interpretation of Jacques Prévert's poem "Déjeuner du Matin" followed. Merci to the students, faculty, and staff for your support in celebrating all things French!
