Tuition & Financial Aid
A Padua Academy education is an investment that alumnae fondly refer to as the greatest gift their families have given them.
Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $15,000. Tuition remains affordable due to generous donations from parents, alumnae, and members of the community. Although the actual cost of a Padua education far exceeds the tuition, philanthropic contributions enable students to receive the gift of a Padua education.
Padua Academy offers a variety of payment options to best fit the needs of each family.
Applicants for Padua Academy’s Class of 2023 earned over $350,000 in academic scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who possess a strong academic record and excel on the High School Placement Test. These awards are renewable each year.
Financial aid is based solely on demonstrated need. Any family who believes it is unable to afford the full cost of tuition is encouraged to apply for financial aid. Padua uses School and Student Services (SSS), a service of the National Association of Independent Schools, to process financial aid applications.
Based on the financial information a family provides, SSS gives Padua an estimated amount a family can contribute to educational expenses. This enables Padua to make fair and objective financial aid decisions.
In order to be eligible for consideration for financial aid, all families of incoming freshmen and new families must complete an application and submit all required forms to SSS by December 13, 2019.
We will communicate decisions about financial aid to new families by February, 2020.
The due date for the financial aid application for current families is January 31, 2020.
Visions for the Future Education Fund Catholic Diocese of Wilmington
The Diocese of Wilmington is now accepting tuition assistance applications for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. Each year through its Vision for the Future Education Trust, the diocese offers tuition assistance to a number of families who desire a Catholic education for their children but who cannot afford the full cost of tuition.
Families with children registered in grades K-12 in an inter-parochial or diocesan parish school who believe they are in need of tuition assistance are encouraged to apply.
To be considered, parents must submit an application online to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment for evaluation at online.factsmgt.com/aid. FACTS representatives are available to guide you through the application process and to answer your questions. For assistance, simply call 1-866-441-4637.
