Student-Artists Win Awards at DCAD Art Show

It was a great night for Padua Academy at the Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) High School Art Show on March 6. The exhibit was juried by the DCAD faculty, who are all practicing artists. Two Padua Juniors were awarded full scholarships worth $1000 each to the DCAD Summer PreCollege Program: Virginia Rodowsky for her sculpture, “Morning Routine” and Sarah Capparuccini for her photograph, “Vanity.” Virginia Rodowsky also received an Honorable Mention for her mixed media piece, “There was No One Left to Speak for Me,” and Julie Zhu was awarded an Honorable Mention for her pastel, “Fear of Carrots.”
