Rooted in the Gospel and modeled on the values of our patrons St. Francis de Sales and St. Francis of Assisi, Campus Ministry helps to foster the spiritual growth of the school community. Campus Ministers seek to walk with each student on her faith journey, encouraging continued discovery of God’s love.
While students encounter God in every classroom and interaction at Padua Academy, Campus Ministry intentionally cultivates Christ-centered lives of leadership and service. Campus Ministry programs include retreats, individual and communal prayer, shared liturgical celebrations, and opportunities to act as Christian witnesses.

Padua celebrates the charisms of both St. Francis of Assisi and St. Francis de Sales. Members of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales and the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia administered and staffed Padua in its early years. Following in this tradition, Padua strives to uphold the humble service of St. Francis of Assisi and the gentle strength of St. Francis de Sales.

  • Retreats

Through her four years at Padua, each student will participate in class retreats to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood and spirituality. Students also have opportunities to choose to invest in their own faith through overnight retreat programs.
  • Prayer

Love for prayer is evidenced in Padua's daily rhythm. Padua engages in prayer as a community every day. Prayer begins every class, gathering, and activity to instill an ongoing relationship with God.
  • Liturgy

As a Catholic community, Padua regularly gathers to celebrate the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Whether through frequent prayer communion services or monthly Adoration, the Eucharist is at the heart of Padua's liturgical life. Students have an opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation alongside other activities throughout each liturgical season.
  • Community Faith Life

Padua students, faculty, and staff frequently sing together the words "we are one body in Christ." This unity is reflected in opportunities for students to act as young women of faith. Experiences such as Famine, the Diocesan Pilgrimage, and the March for Life offer students an organized opportunity to play an active role in their faith. In addition to these annual activities, the Padua community embraces regular acts of service, spaces of prayer, and expressions of gratitude.
