General Information

Enrollment: 600 (averaging 150 per grade)

Faculty and staff: 60; over 50% have earned master's degrees and 5% have earned doctorates

Scheduling: Cyclic - eight periods per day with a six-day cycle

Curriculum: College Preparatory

Tuition: $9,000

Uniform, textbooks, and fee costs:  Approximately $750

Transportation:  School buses to most areas are available; fees are assessed according to the distance traveled.  Some transportation may be provided free of charge by the student's resident, public school district.

Admission:  The Diocesan Placement/Scholarship Test for prospective freshmen will be given on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. at Padua Academy.  Academic scholarships are awarded based on the results of this administration of the placement test.  Students who attend a Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Wilmington will be given placement test information at their school.  Students who do not attend a Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Wilmington should make arrangements for testing by calling Padua's Office of Advancement and Admission at (302) 421-3765.

Padua Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students in the school.  As a Catholic school, however, we seek primarily to serve any parents who want a Catholic education for their daughters.
