Padua Academy Celebrates Class of 2010
Graduation was held at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m., celebrating the 154 young women in Padua Academy’s 53rd graduating class. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2010, who have earned more than $11 million in academic and athletic scholarships!

The Board of Trustees Award for strong personal spirituality; social awareness and social responsibility; qualities of integrity, courage, kindness, and compassion; and exceptional dedication to Padua Academy -- in short, the student who best exemplifies all that Padua Academy has come to represent.

St. Francis of Assisi Award
St. Francis of Assisi Award for emulating St. Francis of Assisi, who lived a life of hospitality with an openness to the good in all creation and a willingness to accept everyone as a gift from our Creator. Following his call to, “Preach the Gospel at all times and, when necessary, use words,” this graduate is recognized for meritorious service to church, school and community.

The Saint Francis de Sales Award
The St. Francis de Sales Award for emulating St. Francis de Sales, the gentle scholar who believed that individuals need to use the gifts given them by God to “Live Jesus.” This graduate, through her gifts and talents, shares the love of Jesus with the school community every day.

The Knights of Columbus Award
The Knights of Columbus Award for living out the Gospel by showing charity to those in need who are part of our everyday lives. The Knights of Columbus Award, in honor of their founder and chaplain Father Roberto Balducelli, is given to a Padua Academy graduate who has faithfully demonstrated a heart of charity to those in need among us.
