Lucey Hits her 1,000th Assist

Screen Shot 2017-09-29 at 10.10.26 AMOn Tuesday, September 26th, senior setter and co-captain, Emma Lucey, surpassed the 1,000 assist mark for her career with 25 in the victory. She also had a great night at the service line, compiling 15 service points and 6 aces. Everyone anticipated that the 1,000th assist was coming soon so in preparation, her peers and teammates waited for the big moment. When Lucey hit her 1,000th assist and at the conclusion of the play, she was swarmed on the court with congratulations.  Congrats, Emma!

Lucey picks up 1000th career assist to help Pandas sweep St. Elizabeth

Senior OH and co-captain, Emily Jarome, was on the other end of Lucey’s 1,000th assist, earning 1 of her 10 total kills. Jarome also added 8 digs. Senior libero, Katie McGonigle, led the defense with 14 digs and sophomore OH, Jess Molen, tallied 8 kills. Molen also served well, adding 14 service points and 2 aces. This win was a total team effort with all players getting court time. Way to go, Pandas!!!
